Opened in 2013, MO.CO Panacée has become a leading contemporary art venue, spanning 1,000 m² and welcoming over 120,000 visitors a year. It features exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, performances, and installations by young artists and renowned creators. With its café and mediation spaces, MO.CO Panacée fosters exchange and discovery, offering a stimulating yet accessible artistic experience in the heart of the historic Écusson.

Accessible to all, MO.CO brings together La Panacée, the Hôtel des Collections, and the École des Beaux-Arts. Free admission, coffee and brunch are available.

The Opéra de la Comédie, a 19th-century architectural gem, offers a rich and varied program just a stone's throw from the hotel: operas, ballets, concerts, and shows. The Opéra Berlioz, within the Corum, completes the musical offerings with large-scale lyrical and symphonic productions. Together, these two venues embody the cultural vitality of Montpellier and provide exceptional artistic experiences! The Orchestre National Montpellier, 93 musicians and 31 choristers, performs in the city and the region, with concerts accessible to all.

POPULAR PAVILION

Photography and temporary exhibitions

The Pavillon Populaire, located on the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle, is entirely dedicated to contemporary and classical photography. It hosts emerging and established artists and monographic exhibitions (Doisneau, McCartney, etc.). Each year, the Les Boutographies festival highlights new European, international, and local talents. Free access makes it a cultural venue accessible to all, also offering walks, cafes, and entertainment in a green setting.

FABRE MUSEUM

The Museum of Fine Arts

The Fabre Museum, located in an 18th-century mansion, is a national reference in fine arts. Created in 1828 thanks to the donation of François-Xavier Fabre, it presents a European journey from the Renaissance to contemporary art, with paintings, sculptures and decorative arts (Rubens, Delacroix or Soulages…). Its mansion in Cabrières-Sabatier d’Espeyran exhibits decorative arts and period furniture. Guided tours, workshops and temporary exhibitions make the museum an essential cultural venue, accessible to families and close to the Place de la Comédie.

The Fabre and the City app allows you to explore the main sites in the history of medicine and art in Montpellier in a fun way. A guaranteed cultural experience for young and old alike !

THE CORUM MONTPELLIER

Berlioz Convention Center and Opera House

The Corum, recognizable by its pink granite facade, is one of Montpellier's flagship venues. It houses the Palais des Congrès, modular auditoriums for conferences or concerts, as well as the Berlioz Opera, a modern hall dedicated to classical, operatic, and contemporary music. This iconic venue hosts national and international events. Easily accessible, the Corum is located 10 minutes from Saint-Roch train station, served by tram, bus, and underground parking.
